School elections A.K.A Popularity contests

I have a story, yay. Okay, every year, all the fifth graders look foreward to a trip to "Exchange city" Where you get to live a day in an adults life. I decided to run for a REALLY COOL job; a judge. When the major elections came, it was just me, another girl (lets call her H.S) and another girl A.E. I was'nt worried about A.E., but H.S. was really popular. I did a lot of work on my speech. Well, it turns out, A.E. forgot her Speech, and H.S's speech really stunk. I was so happy, I thought I had a slight chance of winning. When I arrived back to the classroom, the class bursted out in appluse. It was great. So at the end of the day, I finally learned the results of the election. H.S. won. A lot of people were booing, at least. I was soooo sad. I held in the tears 'till I got on the bus. Turns out H.S. bribed everyone with lolly pops. What an awful Election :,(
